An HR and Recruitment Expert from the CV Writing Centre, Jane contributes regular articles offering career advice to Contractors.

Jane has spent 25 years working in HR and Recruitment with a large number of blue chip companies such as Microsoft, Renault Retail Group, IBM and Nestlé.

In addition to recruiting Permanent and Contract staff across a wide range of disciplines on behalf of these firms, Jane has also provided a variety of HR services, dealing with employment issues, performance reviews, disciplinary procedures and hearings.

She recently joined the CV Writing Centre with the aim of helping jobseekers to get ahead in a competitive market by providing a truly professional CV and interview coaching service. She believes that many of today’s candidates are not adequately prepared for the job application process and she aims to assist them by drawing on her wealth of experience in short-listing, interviewing and hiring both Permanent and Contract staff.

Jane knows exactly what today’s employers are looking for in a CV; and she has used this expertise to help many professional, skilled and unskilled jobseekers achieve a greater number of interviews than they would have done by themselves.
